300 total paces.  Extended the distance between scent pads by 25 paces.  He showed a little bit of stress, but worked through it.  Great indication at the article.  He is really beginning to work more closely on the corners.  

Vivid - same ol' 25 paces baited every step.  Working on it for another week and see how it's going.  She likes tracking, but definitely want to get her method down now instead of when she is 4.

I worked on the board with Streak and vivid.  (I'm running Streak through all the foundation work I'm doing in Vivid's class)  Both did well, streak downs on the board imediately , but sometimes his rear foot slides off.  Vivid loves to be on things, so this was pretty easy to get all 4 feet on the board.  

I worked on the dumbell with Vivid, she is picking it up and carry it to me.  Still working on the verbals for sit and down.  She is doing stand from down on a verbal 85% of the time.

Vivid also went to handling class.  She is quite the wild baby at handling class (every dog should be her friend)  This week I tried using the prong collar while we were waiting and the nylon slip while she was working solo.   That seemed to work better.  

Robyn took Streak to his first herding lesson.  The plan at the moment (subject to change) is for his HT in June and PT in July.  I think it will be really good for him to work with a different person.

Then to Vivid's obedience lesson with Denise
Started to work on "Take a Break" and "look at that"  from the book "Control Unleashed"
Also worked on heeling and dumbbell.  She had much more attention today.

Then Streak got to go to schutzhund - Vivid is missing 3 out of 4 canine teeth, it will be a couple of weeks until her adult teeth come in.
Streak did great.  Kyle caught him on the long bite for the first time and also gave him a short drive. 

 
At Home
Practiced circle work and hot item with Vivid in the backyard.
Streak practiced stays in front of the jump.  We completed 3 minutes of stationary one-way communication.  I bought a kitchen timer so I don't have to keep looking at my watch.  Worked much better that way.  Next step is to start two-way communication while I walk in place and get up to 3 minutes.
